The Kootenai County Noxious Weed Control Department is responsible for controlling Eurasian milfoil only. Other water weeds can be managed by lakeshore owners by either pulling or cutting the weeds. Seeless Weeds – 509-671-6751 - a harvesting company that cut the weeds off and dispose of them.

However you choose to remove the weeds in your area, PLEASE REMOVE ALL PULLED OR CUT WEEDS FROM THE WATER AND DISPOSE OF THEM ON DRY LAND. The homeowners on the lake that are up wind from you would appreciate not having to clean up your weeds from thier bay or beach. JET SKING THROUGH WEED INFESTED WATERS only cuts the weeds and makes a mess. Please stay out of these areas. Thank You
